Everybody has a seat at the table. At our very own pop-up for the month of June 2019, PrideTable was a celebration of queer identity through food + storytelling.

Five courses.  Five personal stories from a diverse and intergenerational team of LGBTQ+ chefs.  A two-week-long pop-up theatrical dining experience in the heart of WorldPride - NYC.

Ticket price included 5 courses, 5 stories, wine, tax, and tip! (PrideTable accommodated vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten-free, and nut-free diets.)

Our creative team featured Adam Kantor (The Band’s Visit) and Benj Pasek (Dear Evan Hansen, LaLaLand), with culinary operations headed by Brian Bordainick (founder of underground supper club Dinner Lab).

PrideTable was proud to partner with The Hetrick-Martin Institute (HMI) to create workshops for at-risk youth from the Harvey Milk School. Through this partnership, students learned workforce skills, help to create dishes, and shape stories while being mentored by leading industry professionals in the worlds of Arts and Food. The students were then employed by PrideTable for the month of June, bringing real-life application and employment to those learned skills. Proceeds from PrideTable went towards funding this Arts&Culture Workforce program on an annual basis through HMI.
